My
work is to help raise a person’s awareness to a higher level
by my approach in combining, or using separately, the disciplines of Energy
Work, Dance and Pilates. My goal is to encourage people to weave their greatest
potential together and build a supportive & compassionate community.
My
work has been influenced and shaped by various disciplines and teachers. I
am forever grateful for their guidance and teachings. In particular, I
want to highlight the following who have influenced me the most:

|
Once
in awhile
Our paths will cross for a purpose
which will be revealed to us at the right time
Because each one of us
Is unique in our own way
We can learn what paths were walked upon.
Through the walkway called heritage
can we unleash the us that is within
To understand where we came from
can we be brave enough
to face the unmapped future
the lies ahead of us.

For Energy
Work:
 | In Hal
Isen’s Core Wisdom Foundation & Mastery Curriculum, I learned the
power of intention, techniques to overcome expectations, and skills to
create the life I want, and to live life to the fullest.
|
 | Tapas
Fleming, Founder of TAT‚,
taught me a simple and very powerful technique to help others dissolve
unwanted and/or stressful issues. This training helped me personally
to deal with “stuck energies” that were preventing me from being all
that I can be.
|
 | Terry
Attwood trained me in all three levels of Reiki. Terry studied with
Pearl Dorris, a mystical teacher, and was also formally attuned by Reiki
Master Hawayo Takata in the first Degree of Reiki. I benefited from her
continually working with us to raise our energetic frequencies into
alignment with the light.
Going
through the year-long process of Master certification, I became more
centered and gained a better
understanding about working with and moving
energy.
In
addition to giving individual Reiki Sessions, I work with a team of Reiki
practitioners who volunteer our services weekly to treat the staff at
Stanford Cancer Center and at a local senior center.
|
 | Through the
energy work with Bita Vassi, Founder of Journal of Light, she helped me
become more aware of what I am here on earth to do. I also gained a deeper
understanding about long distance energy healing as well as defining my own
personal style in doing energy sessions |
For
Pilates:
 | Trained as
Pilates Instructor (Mat Exercises, Standing Pilates & Equipment) by Tom
McCook of Center of Balance in Mountain View, CA. Through his
approach, Tom has shown me how to incorporate spirituality and compassion in
Pilates and movement. |
 | My
work as a Pilates Instructor for Club One, Burlingame Pilates Studio &
Fit from the Core has given me opportunities to practice combining movement
with energy and dance.
|
For Dance:
 | I have been
dancing ever since I can remember, and I started formal dance training when
I was 5 years old. From childhood through the early years of college,
I performed in many recitals, dance competitions, community outreach
performances and musical theater productions. I have worked with
different dance teachers and choreographers, and they all have helped me
confirm my love of dance. Even today, I continue to dance and perform in
local community theaters. Somehow, I have always known that I want
dance to be part of my life work.
|
 | It
was while working on my dance degree at Chapman University (Orange, CA) that
it became clear to me that I can help people through dance. In addition to
getting further training in all forms of dance techniques, I also learned
about choreography, staging performances, Pilates, body conditioning and
kinesiology. My teachers there all encouraged us to bring dance to the world
in old and new ways. All this training served as a foundation for how I now
combine movement with energy work.
